Shades of pink

I'm reading up on local history today as I understand that there were commemorations last weekend and  there are local commemorations on the way today for the British and Canadian soldiers who died during the Battle of the Scheldt in October 1944. Our street is named after one of the Canadian regiments who helped liberate these parts with great losses to their side. We should and will never forget !
