The Black Isle

It was 10 years ago today that we got the key to our house on the hill. It was soo exciting to actually be here and just a few months since we had first seen it, I remember it well. We did nt actually move up until the following July , after the boys had finished school but spent all the holidays and a few weekends in between here.
A nice afternoon. I sat in the garden and phoned my Mum and Dad. It was warm in the sun and the sea was a glimmering silver.
Mike needed to post a parcel and as both Fortrose and Avoch post offices are closed we went to Cromarty. We bought eggs on the way and bought a couple of books from the Emporium.

Watched Tear for Fears concert on the red button. One of the first gigs that I went too, 1983 in the Winter Gardens , Margate !
