Kitty Wilkinson

The new statue of Kitty Wilkinson, 19th century public health campaigner in Liverpool, is the first female statue in St George's Hall. Frank Cottrell Boyce gave a very entertaining talk about his involvement in the Olympic opening ceremony, dealing very well with the echoing acoustics which apparently haven't improved since Dickens complained about them in the 1840s.
