Day 7

It was a long day on the road today as we travelled 250km leaving Kenya and we crossed the border into Uganda. The passing scenery was fascinating though and we were kept busy with waving again to the excited children. There really aren't any tourists around so we were a big deal for them. The border crossing made an interesting experience as we passed mile upon mile of trucks lined up, many of whom have to camp for 3 days until they cross. Luckily we could overtake them!
From there we travelled on to Jinja where we were based at the Adrift riverside camp, our home for the next 2 nights.
