Nourishing the Soul

I love hazel coppice.  There is something satisfying about seeing all those stems - aesthetically and also on a practical level knowing all the good uses to which they can be put, and that they can be cut and then grow all over again.  Their leaves remain bright, cheerful and fresh even this late in October. 

Feeling more like myself today but still rather washed out, so I had a day working from home.  Such a treat not to have to drive to and from work and to have some peace and quiet in which to work and even find some time to do a some training on 'ethics'.  Good stuff.  I would like more days like this.
