Hot date Charideeee
Costume needs for the upcoming Halloween party were taken care of in a Bridge of Don charity shop by chance when I dropped by to hand in a load of stuff. So since it was just the two of us and we seemed to be on a roll, we headed into town and round the union street charity shops for for the first time in years. Yes, we know, our dates are full on sex, drugs and rock 'n roll.
Anyway, let's get back to the important middle aged performance report. And here it is: I bagged a Laura Ashley wool coat and Monsoon winter coat still with the original tickets on, never yet worn, for peanuts. And loads of other sweeeeeet move things like a black furry miss marple hat. Yes, I know, it's a niche like. Dave's idea. He must be more eccentric than me. It was like a skint sex in the city ...(but without the insipid crap story lines and Sarah Jessica Parker's incessant whining). We even had brunch at So because we were pretending to be grown ups....and enjoying not having to go to a benefit makeup stand or a warhammer paint stand....although Tess did text me a shampoo order....
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle...and if you are very, very saintly and good, don't buy it in the first place.
