Day 5

We had a lie in today having breakfast at 8am! We packed up again and drove on to Nakuru town where we had a free couple of hours to do some shopping, accompanied by 3 very attentive young men trying to sell their wares. As they were very polite and well mannered and safely escorted us to the supermarket and the bank we made some purchases from them and took their photo's which they were delighted with. We then headed off to our next camp at Lake Nakuru National Park and enjoyed lunch in baking hot sunshine. We spent the afternoon on a game drive around one side of the lake where we saw more of the usual suspects...waterbuck, zebra and buffalo, but with the added interest of rhino, flamingo's and pelicans.
The evening was spent round a campfire with lots of story telling. The group had really bonded by now and it was great fun.
