Feeling sad

My plan today was to go to my favourite nail bar in Dun Laoghaire and get my nails done the pinkiest pink to make a still life around that colour to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There have been some marvellous photos on this site sending out the message of regular testing.

But I heard that my daughter's friend's mum's breast cancer has come back and I am very upset. She is exactly my age.

I also got a letter informing me of a temporary transfer from Bray to work in Dublin city from 1st Nov to be reviewed end of December. So no more lovely sunrises before work or beachposting for next 2 months.

So as you can see, no pink nails - I didn't even go down for a coffee and that's so not like me
