Ladies that lunch

I met an old friend for lunch today. It was nice to catch up and natter as we hadn't seen each other for months. When we arranged it she said we'll go to her work canteen.

I arrived and I was't signed in, instead we walked off down the road. I assumed we were off somewhere else. Then she said I thought we'd go to the members restaurant instead.

So I ended up lunching in the Peers Restaurant at the House of Commons. Then to round it off nicely, she took me for a tour around the HoP after. This included into the House of Lords Chamber. It's a bit smaller in real life.

However, it was fab to catch up with my chum and a super extra surprise to get to wander about the HoP. What an impressive place, I must visit properly another day and see it all.
