(this is my second attempt...I lost the first when my data disappeared!)

And early start, an early train
Bumped into some friends, we were lucky, no rain!
We walked to the place, bumped into another
The event kicked off, with very little bother. 

The people gathered and suggested their themes
We listed them up and updated the teams.
We talked and shared and spoke of troubles
Some spoke of joy, some are still building rubble!

We dashed to the station, made the half four!
Made a happy girl, when I came through the door
We ate Chinese food, filling my belly
Home improvement TV will do on the telly.

A good day all round, improving the soul!
Though all the running about is taking its toll!!
