Monoprint

Experimenting with some monoprinting this morning (a monoprint is a print that can only be made once) using leaves from the woodland around the pond where the dragonfly nymph came from. The aim is to create a faint monoprinted background and then to overprint with the lino block nymph. The tones in this monoprint are too dark for that purpose but I quite like it as a stand alone piece.
