Ouch....

.....Hitting potholes is something I try to avoid at all costs, in the rain and dark it makes it sometimes very difficult/impossible.

With the continuing decline in our roads and their maintenance along with  bodging holes with quick fixes I imagine damage to cars is increasing too.

Tonight I hit a pothole covered in water and not only did it blow my tire out, it has wrecked my alloy. It's a company car and we've been quoted £460 from VW just for the wheel plus £90 for the tyre....no chance. We have found the same on ebay for less than half the price.
