Big sky
It has taken me hours to decide which shot to blip with today AND i've messed about with this one so much that I'm starting to go a bit doolally!
We took advantage of the bright sunny morning to get the garden tidied up. Pete has wiped himself out mowing the lawn. Our garden is 250 feet long and mowing it is a mammoth task - we have to do a double act on it; I mow the bit closest to the house with an electric mower and Pete does the awkard sloping part with the unwieldy petrol mower. We've chopped back all the bushes and trees and at last it looks nice and neat.
I still had just about enough energy to hike up to the aerodrome and take some pics. I nearly did get my head taken off by a glider coming in to land... it was so windy I didn't hear it coming in behind me... if only I had realised I could have got an excellent shot.
I got pounced on by a beautiful dog called Basil, who apparently was rescued from Cyprus 2 years ago. He was found under a bridge, covered in cigarette burns and someone had stapled his ears to his head!! I will never understand how anyone can be so cruel to animals. He is all well now and very beautiful, friendly chappie. I will put a picture of him on my blipfolio along with some of the other shots I have taken today.
