The Beauty of the (fallen) Jacarandah

This old Jacarandah was uprooted in the floods we had a while back......even though all the roots are exposed and it's not in a very comfortable position she still exudes grace and poise along with pushing forth a wonderful show of lilac/purple blooms.
I love the Jacs they always bloom around my birthday so I have a secret and special relationship with them....around here ...in the mountains they are in full abundance.

The old shed (first extra) ( I found a few old Buildings Freespiral) is one I have had my eye on to blip for a while now.........and even longer is the New Orleans house (second extra)...in fact I think I might of many moons ago. It reminds me of a house you would find in New Orleans....nobody has lived there for a while now and it is overgrown and fabulous....again the Jacarandah gives it an extra beauty with its lovely colour.

For some reason the colours were rather flat ....so I HDR'd all of 'em....I have been trying to move away from HDR for some time now and I had almost forgotten how much I love it...there are just some things that cry out for it.

We spent the morning and a good part of the afternoon shopping....Jaiya Flynn P and I all bundled in the car and went to the BIG shops.
It was exhausting........gosh I find shopping and shops a waste of time sometimes....anyhoo after a little snap when we got back home P and I headed out into the afternoon light for a little blipfest.
