Banana Cake

We ran out of bananas and the local shop only had these in, slightly past their best, but free of charge!  Not really what you want sliced on your cereal, but excellent for a banana, chocolate and walnut loaf!  

Riding in the afternoon, indoors, because of the muddy conditions under hoof!   H and I chatted about our favourite pony books from childhood, mainly by the wonderful Pullen Thompson sisters.  Anyone remember them? I found one at the book sale a couple of weeks ago and gave it to her, and she was thrilled!
