The Meridian Line

We live close to East Grinstead where much is made of the Meridian Line that runs through the town. We have Meridian halls, playgrounds and the like but today I came across the Millennium stone which not only shows were this famous line is but also actively encourages people to touch it.
Not only did I touch the stone, I found myself trying to straddle this invisible line to take the photo. How silly can you get?
