Nem

We had hoped to dine at a one star restaurant today but they failed to get back to me on the booking. Instead we lunched at a Chinese restaurant for the princely sum of €11 each for three courses. This was our starter of "Nem". Similar to Spring Rolls but lighter and crispier and ram packed with pork instead of veg. You wrap them in lettuce with mint and coriander before dunking in dipping sauce and eating
The sauce was fiery and delicious.

The Muraille de Chine is just a ten minute stroll from the campsite on the Île d'Offard. Very handy.

Even closer is a Moroccan restaurant, which we hope to try tomorrow.
