Demolition Looming!

A fine day in between the showers, even some sunny spells from time to time.  The wind picked up about teatime, but a calm evening, and dry :)

I've had a busy day working in the museum office.  I've been scanning old slides from the John Leslie collection.  There was also a few orders to sort too.  The museum was fairly busy when I was down.  After tea I popped by friend Julie and her mam was over too, and then headed out walkies with the dogs.  Off to work in the pub later.

I nipped down the road at lunchtime for a walk, and also investigate the demolition of croft house.  A sad day for the old house, it's end is near and soon to be wiped off the planet.  It's been empty for years now, since Boon (Brian Johnson) passed away.  Hopefully the area will have a replacement, and have character like this too.  A shame it had been left to for, rather than saving it years ago.  Taken at Flanderstoon, Cunningsburgh.
