A long day

Not for us really but our guests. They had decided Eaval was there to be climbed, including the 7 year old so off they trotted into the bog that surrounds the hill.
We were meeting them by walking in from the far end - at least we had hoped to. Eventually they appeared as the light disappeared and we hopped across the bog in the gloaming. By the time we got back to the car it was 7:30 pm and pretty pitch black.
Supper for all was "scottish mince", consciously avoiding the Haggis word, to encourage the youngsters to eat it which they happily did. It is all in the packaging!
