High Water

There was a lot of water on the course this morning and The Pond Formerly Known As Beak House Pond was full to overflowing, though we all managed to avoid putting a ball in it and everyone's golf was a lot better than in the atrocious conditions last Thursday.

Spent the afternoon waiting for a second company to come and collect the old bathroom suite and accompanying rubbish. Just like the first time, they arrived, took one look at it and said they hadn't been told how much of it there was and hadn't got room for it in their van. At least they promised to come back on Thursday with a bigger, empty van.

It's now taken 3 weeks for the installers and the company contracted to clear the rubbish (who the sub-contract it to the people who actually come to collect it) to get their lines of communication and act together.
