!This is the view from Ardmair Point, across the mouth of Loch Broom with the Calmac Ferry from Stornoway just nosing in towards Ullapool.

After a great night at the Loopallu Festival this morning dawned bright and warm(ish) Annie went out for a paddle in the boat and had a close encounter with an Otter that swam up to 10 feet from her in the canoe gave her a hiss and dived of in pursuit of its breakfast.
2nd and final day of the festival today, we are so glad we chose to camp here at Ardmair 3 miles away than the Festival campsite where everyone is camped cheek by jowl. George the Campsite owner also ran a shuttle service to and from the festival, last pick up is at 02:00am so no worries on getting back even if we were late at the Festival Fringe event in the bars in Ullapool.
