Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting again this week.

I guess this is mono in more ways than one - back before stereo was widely affordable!
I remember buying this in 1980 - it was £20 (US$25 - probably double that, then, with the exchange rate) ..... it was a lot of money to me 37 years ago - I still even have the manual .... however it's proved to be good value as it's still in full working order, runs on battery or mains and it keeps me company in the garden where I can listen either to the radio or play my cassette tapes!   
If you are very young you'll have to ask your parents about cassette tapes!!   :o))
