Hide and seek

We thought Purdy had gone missing today; after breakfast we saw no sign of her right through to late afternoon.  We searched the house.  We searched the garage.  We went over to Dad's house to see if she was visiting.  We asked next door if perhaps their daughter, who is on half term, had invited Purdy in.  No sight or sound of her.  Then, thinking back to what she what she had been doing earlier, Linda had a brainwave and went upstairs to our bedroom and opened the wardrobe sliding door.  There was Purdy snuggled up on a jumper and sleeping peacefully.
