Spreader

When I bought this Viburnum plicatum as a tiny plant I understood it would develop into an elegant small tree with a graceful trunk. That’s what the illustration claimed. However, it has had other ideas, sprawling out to cover other bushes. It measures 2.5metres tall, 4.7m wide, and if it wasn’t for the fence, it would probably be more than its 3.5m depth. Once the flowers are finished I’ll trim it back to give other bushes some light.
