... leaving the digital SLR at home and wandering about at lunchtime with a 60 year old Kodak Brownie Reflex Synchro. Isn't the internet a marvellous thing - two minutes searching and I had the original instruction manual to print out, and could get on with loading the 127 film I'd received the day before.

Developing will be a trickier proposition, given the exorbitant cost of having it done elsewhere. But, I know someone in Dundee who has offered me the loan of a developing tank. So I got through the first film (well, it's only 8 shots!) that lunchtime, and have the second loaded. It'll be interesting to see if after all this time the camera still works properly!
