Oyster Beds

I have noticed these oyster beds on a previous visit to this area of France but not had the opportunity to stop and photograph them. Today a few of us went to see them and they were extensive and spectacular. Oysters are big business in the region and there were sheds and boats all along the coastal bay mainly focussed on the town of Bouzigues. This town is delightful in its own right being quiet and unspoiled with no high rise hotels or apartment blocks. We had a delightful day including a wonderful seafood lunch. Back at the hotel in the evening we got together with the rest of the group for our 'last supper' as it's home for us all tomorrow.
