Two new pooches

Today I went to visit my newest charges, Truffle and Bramble, prior to moving in to look after them and house-sit while their owners have a special holiday in November.

On the first house-sit anywhere there's always a lot to learn about the running of the home, where things are kept, the heating system, etc, not to mention the pets' needs, so this visit was full of instructions.

I'll have one more visit before I move in. That'll be to have a lesson in shutting in the hens and ducks at night, but we're going to wait until the clocks change next weekend.

I think I'm going to enjoy this next house-sit... but then I always do!
