Grey Autumn

Although the colours are vibrant, the weather is not.

Unexpectedly I had a meeting up north cancelled this morning so I have been able to work away at home , clearing emails, reading documents and arranging my coming week and month.   The new session of Parliament starts tomorrow and lasts the 9 weeks to Christmas.

But as I worked  I could hear the almost constant sound of rain beating away on the windows.    A brief lull let me capture this.
