Windy!

It would have been dad's birthday on the 11th, but we couldn't go to visit his grave til today, so my brother drove myself and our mum up to the cemetery this morning. It tends to be blowy up there on a normal day, so with the stormy weather we're getting now it was blustery to say the least. On the way the rain battered the car and we realised not one of us had an umbrella - but then as mum said, it would have been more trouble than it was worth in that wind. Anyway, it wasn't raining at the cemetery and when we left the flowers were still in place ...

Lunch on the way home in an overpriced pub, if you want my opinion, but let's not get me started.

Home to slob on the sofa and admit I'm starting with a cold, darn it!
