Across Bassenthwaite

A very windy day! We drove around Bassenthwaite - and stopped off for some shots. I tried to walk on the other side - but the fields were waterlogged, and through the woods the boardwalk was underwater, so I had to give up. Last of all we enjoyed a visit to Mirehouse, although the weather was not so great to see the gardens at their best.
