Shield Bug

After the foraging fiasco of yesterday I decided to check my local area for rose hips to make up the deficit and was pleased to find more than I needed, besides leaving plenty for the birds. I also collected enough elderberries to make another flavour of jelly. I didn't notice the shield bug until afterwards.*

However, despite having a variety of ideas and ingredients I fear a problem finding sufficient matching single-portion jars to put them into sets as planned. Maybe I'm just trying too hard.
