Davaar

Reasonably bright morning although very windy through the night with gusts up to 50mph. I'm reliably informed :-)
After grocery shopping I wanted to collect some teasels for a large West German pottery vase we have on the turn of the internal stairs,so rather than go for a beach walk we drove round to New Orleans.
Teasels duly collected from the back of the rocky beach near New Orleans  we walked back along the road to the car park at the Doirlinn. Interesting walking when directly into the wind. We turned at the 2 mile milestone and went back for the car. Home for lunch. The teasels are now in our stone outhouse drying.
Nice to get to see Davaar up close and see the changing colours in the landscape.
In the afternoon I was working on some ideas for lino prints for Christmas cards.
I know I've now gone and mentioned the 'C' word but can't get away from it.Keeping us very busy in the shop and keeping me away from Blip Photo...apologies :-)
