shhh I think it might still be summer!

Apparently September in Vancouver was the driest month on record. Today the sun was shining all day, not a cloud in the sky but yet it was Baltic inside the corridors of work, until around 4pm when the heating kicked in and finally competed with the sun warming the building all day, producing an over all effect of stuffy uncomfortableness.

Yesterday we made the big decision to return home and booked our December flight on exactly a year to the day that we booked our flights from the UK to Vancouver (whilst in a hostel in Osaka, Japan). It was a lot easier this time, but a part of me does miss the Japanese character keyboard.

Reminding ourselves that it is a working h-o-l-i-d-a-y we are waking up at 4am tomorrow morning to catch a flight to Calgary. The Rockies here we come!
