Satisfaction

Got a lot done today. Put in a ceiling light, culled the cook books, had my eyes tested, made bread. Good looking loaf. There is always a sense of achievement when the dough rises.

The electric blanket went on today. We felt the cold last night.

Talking of eye tests ... what did the man who set up an eye charity say to his sponsors? We need you to help fundus ...

That one has them rolling in the aisles at the optician’s ball. Or should I say rolling the eyes?...
