I know, I'll Take a Photo of the Engine......

........Big mistake!!
I left Archie at home this morning with Mr K who's working at home today and, after dropping off the Little Misses, carried on to Milton Keynes to look at all the kitchens! B&Q, Wren, Homebase, Wickes and Ikea!!
I went to B&Q first and bought some screen wash as I've run out and can barely see out of the my windscreen. When the bonnet was up I thought that the engine would make a good Blip.
As I took my phone out of my back pocket I watched in horror as my credit card flew up into the air and then disappeared into the engine.
FFS!!!
I scrabbled about in vain looking under the car to see if it had fallen through but no!
Mr K’s always telling me to stop keeping it in my back pocket but do I listen????
I remember when Miss E was about a year old and she posted my credit card into the plastic fold down changing table in the changing rooms at Bicester swimming pool.
I must sound like a total nutter when I ring up to get new ones!!!
Anyway I've narrowed the kitchen down to either the Ikea one we got a quote for the other day or a Wickes' one. I had a chat with the man in Wickes and he's coming round to measure up on Wednesday!
After all that exhausting kitchen browsing I had a cup of tea in Ikea before heading home. Using my Ikea family card because, of course, I had no way of paying for it otherwise!!
Because Mr K was at home I took Miss L home after school before heading to rock climbing with Miss E. Annoyingly we were about five minutes away when she announced she felt sick and didn't want to go. She did look a bit green so we headed home. And got stuck in traffic and took hours to get home. All while Miss E was groaning and rolling about in the back. Ugghhh!!!!!
I tried to gently explain to her about stoicism but it fell on deaf, whinging ears and she got upset because I'm a tad unsympathetic. Lovely!!!
Miss L cried when we got home because she'd been looking forward to an evening with just her and Mr K.
I washed my hands of both of them and headed up to have a bath. Bloody children!!!!
