Charming

I found out today that the collective noun for Goldfinches is a Charm, seems very apt for such beautiful creatures. Despite the fact we have them in abundance and how they seem to mob their way around the feeders they also seem quite quarrelsome. In the end I liked this more candid shot of this fellow taking a breather in some fallen branches (thanks Brian).

Yesterday was unsurprisingly a bit too much, so I've spent today mostly on the couch and cooking, movies watched, book read and fridge stocked, <400 steps. Still catching up on sleep, but the virus now feels beaten, hurrah.
