Frosty morning sunrise

Yesterday the cloud cover cleared and the night sky was clear. This allowed the cold air to settle and we awoke to frost on rooftops and vehicles. Fortunately, I picked all the tomatoes yesterday afternoon. There was little frost damage in the garden but the forecast is for more frost in the next few days.

I love the way the sunrise in Kamloops lights up the hilltops first and then how the warm morning light creeps down into the valley.
