Caribbean Flamingo

A day at Sea World. I'm always conflicted on visiting the park; they always have a very strong environmental message, but to see so many animals in captivity, providing entertainment for the masses and being so profitable for the parent company is difficult to come to terms with.

I had plenty of possible shots, including friends enjoying themselves on the rides, but was struck by the beauty of this bird and perhaps a soulful look being kept in such a small area.
