Haw

Got the bike out of the shed to find I must have punctured at the end of yesterday's ride. So, fixed that and consequently ended up setting off later than I meant to. Then on the way back from my ride I noticed summat sticking in the wheel and watched as the tyre deflated. So, stoped and fixed that - same wheel, same thing - damn hawthorn! Ended up with a bit of a truncated ride because of time running away from me - but still all good, had managed to get out every morning which was what I was aiming for at the start of the week.

Into Rothesay for burgers at Harry Haw's and then upto Rhubodach for a walk. A walk that was very boggy and muddy and took us uphill to a viewpoint of the Kyles Of Bute and the old decoy bunker from World War II. The return leg of the walk brought us back down a track that took longer than expected and meant that we had to then dash home for all of fifteen minutes to get vaguely cleaned up before heading back out to Rothesay for a cinema trip to the great little movie theatre on the front. 'Goodbye Christopher Robin' was pretty decent and the other four punters in the place seemed to think so too.
