Mooving on

The wifi was nt very good where we were staying , I kept losing a connection so gave up in the end so now we're home I've a few blips to catch up on :)

The day started very misty and damp so we decided to go out for lunch in Glendale.
First we stopped at the Dragonfly Studio which was full of knitted, woven and felted items and some wood carving and paintings all created by members of the same family. There were even little beaded bracelets made by the little ones :)
I had a lesson in how to use a hand spindle, she made it look so easy !
We were talking about Brownies and she suggested we made some felted stones, a great idea, messy and bubbly which the girls will love :)
Abit more exploring down roads we had nt been down before. It was becoming drier and we had great views across to the coral beach.
Coming back across an Old Drovers road we came face to face with these cows being moved to a more sheltered spot. The only difference from years gone by was the use of the car instead of by foot. It was quite a distance to move them .We waited in a space for them to , slowly, wander past.
On to Glendale where the cafe was shut. I knew the Red Roofed cafe would be closed but hoped that the Lephin one would be open. We did got a hot drink from the Post Office/ General store. Again it was like stepping back in time. It was like a tardis inside with old fashioned shelving packed with everything from local eggs to windscreen wipers.
On down some more of the Drovers road where we went for a brief walk. The cows had churned up the mud so to squelchy for us to get by.
Wonderful views of Neist Point on the way back.lots of good looking sheep and cows watched us as we drove past without a care in the world .
We had a female blackcap in the garden this morning and saw the Sea Eagle in the trees on the way back.
