Festival Fun

Today's lovely weather brought thousands  out to the annual Festival held to raise funds for the local school.  The grounds were thronged with people watching wood chopping and sheep shearing, listening to live music, visiting the dozens of stalls, eating, chatting and enjoying being out in the country.  I was on duty at one of the gates in the afternoon and was kept busy giving change and answering questions.
The Pipe Band is always a popular attraction (extra photo).
