Side Street Sunset

We had a clear plan for the day but as always we were behind schedule. We had planned to get on a city bus tour however we spent all morning changing flights and booking accommodation for the Brazil part of the trip which begins on Friday.

Once we finally got out we decided to head back to Boca as we enjoyed it so much the first time. We got dropped off right by the Football Stadium so I could get a closer look. From there we walked down through Boca until we once again got to the coloured streets. There's never a dull moment walking in Argentina as you have to constantly be on the look out for poo. It seems owners don't clean up after their dogs here.

We had a satisfactory lunch in-front of an ongoing tango performance at the restaurant. There was another place on our 'to visit' list. So we thought we would get the bus, now I don't like getting the bus in my own country let alone a foreign one. We shortly got off the bus after the driver informed us that he didn't accept notes and only change... OK.

Anyway we made in to Puerto Madero. A re-vamped canal area in BA. It was quite nice although it wasn't that entertaining. Once we decided it was time to get back in a taxi and head back to the apartment the real photo opportunities arose.

Pictured, was the sunset beaming through the streets of BA reflecting beautifully off buildings and lighting up the roads. Unfortunately we were stuck behind a bus for most of it but luckily it moved just in time so I could get my shot.

Finally we planned to go to a Tango show tonight however we recently found out that it was cancelled because somebody had died! Don't know much more than that. We might be going to a movie now.

Enjoy.
