Wooded

Quite a breeze blowing today although nothing like as extreme for us as some areas of the UK. Our weather is rarely as extreme, as being so far from the coast it always seems moderated by the time it reaches us.

After a quiet morning, I (Chris) left Annie doing a bit of work and headed up to Wendover Woods in the Chilterns. Whilst the trees are still quite green, they are turning and there was plenty of brown leaves providing a carpet of colour whilst the overcast sky did a great job lighting the leaves that remained attached. It did rain a bit, perhaps that accounted for the empty paths as I spent lots of time wandering and seeing no one. A few more photos here.
