Glover Duck!

Having been 1-0 down for most of the game, Yeovil (aka The Glovers) managed to equalise with just ten minutes left and by all accounts (i.e. partisan Yeovil ones) should have had a penalty in extra time, but had to settle for a draw.

This duck is one of a pair that Kate & Joel bought us for our Ruby Wedding in April. One of my Dad's favourite expressions was "Gawd, love a duck!" so I had to christen this one Glover Duck.

I've been saving him to blip for a rainy day and this was certainly one of those: it was raining hard for much of the match at Barnet apparently, it's been lovely weather for ducks here since late afternoon and, having not taken a photo all day (routine weekly shopping this morning, the indoor swimming pool with Sophie, who hasn't been in the mood for posing, this afternoon) this is definitely an EODB - an Emergency Ornamental Duck Blip.
