look for signs that summer's done ii

I think I was lucky to get any kind of blip today. I've broken the card cover on my usual camera, and although the camera still works I'm too scared to loose the broken bit to take it out. All the superglue in the house has set hard so I can't mend it (and I'm a bit scared to anyway, superglue near the camera sounds like a bad idea.)
So when Ithaca proposed a lunch time outing, I had my blackberry and my little camera. The battery quickly went flat on the little camera and I couldn't work out the zoom on the phone.
We went to Broughton Castle, not the red and gold extravaganza I was hoping for, we'll have to go back in a couple of weeks. Still, great to get away from the office and into the fresh air!
