Feisty Lady

We were holding our staff 'away-days' in Wadham College, in the Holywell Music Room, apparently Europe's first purpose-built concert hall. Handel performed there. As did Phil Bloomer, the head of our department, giving an extraordinary rendition of Top Cat on ukelele.

The lady on the left is Dorothy Wadham who founded the college aged 75, in accordance with her husband's will. She sounds like an impressive woman.
