Commuting home on my bike I often get stopped by the odd cow or two :)

This one moved off the path and then continued munching away on the grass. They are very curious beasts and always stop to take a long look at you. We must look very strange to them - especially those of us in fluorescent yellow, helmeted and bespectacled.....

Its a lucky thing to be able to commute this way and see some wildlife on the way. Goodness knows there is enough at work as well; government also, and especially the transport department who also seems to be on a par in terms of overall intelligence ! Cycling certainly blows these cobwebs away.

Vegetarian dish tonight I think...Mushroom Risotto !
