Family Bible

Not only did I manage to "steal" my grandfathers medals from my Mum last weekend, I also managed to "steal" the family bible!

This was bequeathed to my great great grandfather by his brother in the nineteenth century, and has numerous births, marriages and deaths written in several different types of handwriting. Not sure if it is just a romantic notion that the writing from 160 years ago looks a lot more attractive than more recent script?

Anyway - I need to send a note to my father: I'm coming after you next for some artefacts!!
