Evening ‘s entertainment

I took a days leave from work today which meant I could do some leisurely shopping in the morning.

This evening we went to a talk in Drumelzier Village Hall about Namibia. It was given by two people who had (separately) been to different parts of the country. They showed us pictures of the animals, birds and people they had met on their travels and we heard lots about the country too. After the show we were served a super meal and drinks - all for the princely sum of £10. This was to raise money for Amref Health Africa and for Tweedsmuir and Stobo Kirks.

My extra was taken on Tweed Green this morning on my way back from the shops
