Getting there...

I don’t think she had much hair for the first year so let’s say this is nearly 11 years of effort. Interestingly since she started secondary school, has more to get ready and leaves earlier but she has had more time for me to do her hair. Soon I may even be able to do two sides that look the same...

Other things that are getting there include the cake and the presents. The latter seemed all in hand until me and J came to assemble her netball post and there were two key pieces missing. As we had waited until she was out at her drama class and it was almost dark there didn’t seem much to be done. But thanks to the wonderful express service at Argos and Carl coming in and going straight out again on the bus we will hopefully have a working one in the morning.

A combination of that and having a boy at home who is feeling a lot brighter (table tennis, Sonic, music composition) is why I am behind on the cake but there is time in the morning before her party in the afternoon.

And finally on my getting there theme I returned all the documents needed to get things set back up to start working again...just in time for my first webinar next Thursday.

I can’t include packing for our little jaunt on Sunday as I don’t think you can say anything is getting there if it hasn’t started...
